From classroom teaching to academic leadership, Mrs. Gupta's journey reflects a commitment to helping students understand Chemistry and pursue their ambitions.

Mrs. Shailja Gupta is a passionate educator, academic trainer and mentor, renowned Chemistry expert and career guide with over 28 years of experience training medical and engineering aspirants for competitive examinations. She has dedicated her career to helping students achieve academic excellence and build successful futures.
She served as a Senior Chemistry Faculty at Aakash Educational Services Limited (AESL), Delhi for more than a decade, teaching at centres including Janakpuri, South Extension and Karol Bagh.
Throughout her career, she has mentored over 7,000 students across diverse programmes and batches, including ANTHE, Top40, Ranker's Batch, Class of Excellence, repeater, regular classroom, Scholar, Class 11, Class 12 and dropper batches. Her teaching and mentoring have contributed to more than 1,500 selections in competitive examinations, including students entering reputed medical and engineering institutions.
Her students have pursued opportunities at institutions including AIIMS and IITs, with some achieving top-100 ranks in NEET and JEE Main. She also takes pride in seeing students from different career paths succeed in their chosen fields.
Beyond classroom teaching, Mrs. Gupta has contributed to academic content development and initiatives at Aakash, including NEET Challenger App, MCAPS, Study Packages, NCERT Maps and AIATS. Her work has also included video lecture verification and the improvement of study materials and other learning resources.
As a Chemistry Master Trainer and recruiter, she has trained more than 300 AESL faculty members and interviewed over 600 candidates during recruitment. These experiences have strengthened her understanding of effective teaching, academic standards and the qualities that help educators support students successfully.
